It has been brought to my attention that people who are voting at the Best of the Couch area are NOT recieving confirmation emails. That explains why the voting is so low this month. Sigh.
After investigating, I've come to the conclusion that my ISP is staffed by a bunch of morons. Without checking whether anyone was using the script or not, they deleted the custom script I'd arranged to have run on their system that responded to votes. Their reason? Uhhh... umm... duh?
For now, the BotC voting is going off-line. The page will be there, but I won't recieve the votes. As soon as I've completed the move to my new ISP (happening this month, folks - yaaay!), this will no longer be an issue and the BotC voting will resume.
Speaking of new ISP's... :) The Couch is moving. As soon as everything is up and running, I'll post the new URL here (hopefully this ISP will let me keep a redirector page up for a while) and to the FFML.
Last, but definetely not least, I want to thank XStylus and James Kahle for being willing to help me run this site. Hopefully, you'll be seeing stuff with their sig on it soon, instead of just mine. :)
