A Chance Encounter

        I blinked in surprise as the force of the creature's will blasted
me.  My strength wouldn't hold up long against this, I thought fearfully as
the MindSeeker smiled cruelly.  A long tentacle shot out and wrapped around
my wrist, dragging me closer to the disgusting monster. "Give up foolish
girl!" it snarled contemptuously.  I shrieked in pain as another mind
numbing blast coursed through my weakening body.  "This is it," I thought,
I'll never see my parents or my beloved Austin ever again.   I closed my
eyes and tried desperately to shift my shape so that I could escape this
horrible beast.  But the Mindseeker, knowledgeable in my shapeshifting
tactics, merely laughed and tightened his grip on my wrist.  Oh, it hurt so
badly!!!   I was ready to let my soul fly from my body when I heard someone
shout, "Let go of her, Negasleaze!!"  "Sailor Moon!!" I managed to squeak
out.  The creature turned his attention back to me for a moment, snarling
viciously as he gave me a stunning slap to the jaw.  I reeled in pain,
unable to speak further.  Sailor Moon gasped in horror at the Mindseeker's
ill treatment of me.  She yelled out, "In the name of the moon, I will
punish you, evil one!"  Sailormoon threw her tiara at the Mindseeker,
hoping to get him to let me go.  The tiara struck him in the chest, and he
screamed in agony.  I took advantage of his momentary confusion to shift
into a mouse and scurry away.  He howled again, but not from pain as much
as from frustration.  Sailor Moon then used her Crescent Moon Wand on him
to heal him and return him to his original self, a Wiseman who served Queen
Serenity.  Sailor Moon scooped me up, still in my mousey form, and carried
me back to Scout headquarters, where I shifted into my human form and
collapsed.  Amy, Raye, Mina and Lita came running over.  Oh Lexie, what
happened to you? They exclaimed in unison.  Serena explained what had
happened to me, and everyone gave me sympathetic glances and soft words of
encouragement.  But I knew what they were thinking.  They were thinking
that I, Lexie, a shapeshifter but no Sailor Scout, shouldn't have taken on
the Mindseeker alone.  But I had had to in order to prove to them that I
could fight as well and hard as they could.  And I had failed.  Turning my
face into my pillow, I sobbed softly so that none of them could hear me.
Then I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder.  Luna was sitting beside me on the
bed, I sat up and smiled weakly at her.  "Lexie," she began, "there is
something I must tell you.  You are a Sailor Scout, only you don't know it
yet.  Your shapeshifting abilities are no accident.  Of all the Sailor
Scouts, you are the favorite of the moon princess, because you used to
shift into all sorts of delightful animals to entertain her as a child.
She needs you now, more than ever, " Luna explained.  Suddenly, a wand just
like the other scouts' appeared in front of me.  It was a brilliant purple
in color and the symbol on it was a wolf with a sorcerer's hat.  I
tentatively reached out to grasp it, and it seemed to fall right into my
hands.  "Now listen to me, Lexie, "Luna said sternly.  "Say Avalon Star
Power," she commanded.   I stood up and lifted the wand into the air,
shouting,  "Avalon Star Power!"  I felt a warm feeling of power as I
transformed into Sailor Avalon.  Luna looked approvingly at me.  I turned
quickly to glance in the mirror.   My auburn hair cascaded down past my
hips in a soft waterfall-like fashion, and my aquamarine eyes sparkled with
delight at my new appearance.  Although I knew that I was beautiful; I had
been told so by many boys in school, I felt even more beautiful as Sailor
Avalon.  Luna summoned the others, who were amazed at my transformation.
"Lexie, is that you??" Serena asked in disbelief.  "Yes, Luna gave me the
wand of Avalon, I am Sailor Avalon," I replied happily.  Mina hugged me
tightly, and Raye and Lita offered congrats, while Amy shyly offered to
make me some breakfast.  "Hey, that sounds great!" I said, "Cause I am
famished!"  Everyone laughed at my outburst and Lita poked Amy in the arm.
" Better leave the cooking up to the expert, " Lita joked.

        It was two months later that I finally got to prove myself in
battle against the Negaverse.  Queen Beryl had somehow awakened Jedite
after he had failed her miserably the first time around, and he was back on
Earth, once again stealing energy from innocent people.  I came upon him in
a dark alley, stealing the energy from an obviously frightened young girl.
I quickly ducked behind a corner and transformed into Sailor Avalon.  "Hold
it right there, Jedite!" I shouted as I confronted the Dark Kingdom
General.  Jedite sneered at me and countered, "Oh, another Sailor Brat.
Which one are you?"  I replied, " I am Sailor Avalon, the senshi of nature,
and I will punish you in the name of Avalon!"  He merely smirked. "Senshi
of Nature?  Whaddya gonna do, attack me with butterflies?" he mocked.  I
was furious with him because he dared to mock me, and replied nastily, "Oh,
I can do much more than that Jedite, as you're about to find out!"  I
yelled out "Avalon Transformation Magic!" and instantly my shape shimmered
and shifted into that of a great white wolf.  I snarled and leapt at
Jedite's throat.  He was taken completely by surprise and barely dodged my
fearsome jaws.  He screamed in pain as my teeth glanced off of his
shoulder.  "You'll pay for that Sailor Avalon!" he shouted, using his dark
power to send a bolt of lightning at me.  I countered his attack with my
Avalon Forcefield Protect.  He snarled in anger as his bolt harmlessly
bounced off my protective shield.  The commotion soon brought the other
scouts, who turned their attacks on him as well.  Jedite panicked and
disappeared, leaving the hapless girl behind.  She stared at us in
confusion, then collapsed in a heap.  I reverted to my human sailor form
and turned to brief Sailor Moon on what had happened.  Raye smiled broadly
at me. "You sure gave Jedite a run for his money," she said warmly.
"Thanks," I replied, pausing to catch my breath.  Transforming into Lobo,
my symbol, took a lot out of me, and soon I was ready to collapse.  The
other Scouts and I went back to Scout Headquarters, where Luna was waiting
to talk to me.  She pulled me aside and whispered, "I'm proud of you Sailor
Avalon.  You proved that you are worthy of being a Sailor Scout."  I smiled
warmly at her and hugged her tight.

        Jedite paced in his quarters, thinking of how to pay back Sailor
Avalon for that humiliating defeat.  Boy he thought a new Sailor Brat to
deal with, but what a beauty.  He smiled evilly; I will have Sailor Avalon
in my possession, no matter what it takes! he thought aloud, planning to
capture her and make her his and his alone.  For as angry as he was with
her for defeating him, he admired her natural beauty and spirit, and wanted
nothing more than to be inside her, spilling his seed into her womb.  He
grew hard just thinking about her full breasts and long coltish legs.
First Fire, but he wanted to push himself into her and never come out!  But
it would have to take careful planning on his part for Avalon was not one
to be trifled with.  He rubbed his throat where Avalon's lupine form would
have torn the life from him, and smiled.  Such ferociousness equaled
passion in matters of lovemaking.  He would bide his time.  He would have
her!

        A week later, Jedite got his "chance."  I was walking along the
riverbank, breathing in the fresh air and communing with nature, when
suddenly an all too familiar and unwanted presence appeared in front of me.
Jedite smiled slyly at me and his gaze burned with both hate and desire.
Before I could react, he grabbed me and forced his lips upon my own,
cruelly bruising my tender mouth with the force of his passion.  I cried
out for my friends, but I knew it was futile; they were all away for the
weekend.  I squirmed in his grasp and tried to concentrate on shifting into
another form so I could escape.  But Jedite had anticipated this and
slapped me hard across my jaw, causing me to reel in pain.  Then his hand
went into his pocket, producing a collar, which he promptly fastened around
my neck.  I roared with the rage of my wolf spirit and desperately tried to
break free and transform into Lobo, but I couldn't; the collar was
preventing me from using my powers.  I glared hatefully at Jedite. "Release
me at once, Negascum!" I spat, kicking out at him viciously.  My knee found
its target and he howled in pain as I broke free from his grasp and took
off running. "Ah, Ah Ah," Jedite said mockingly as once more his strong
arms closed around my waist.  Hauling me up roughly, he carried me into a
secluded alcove, where he began ripping my sailor suit from my body.  I
squealed in panic and pleaded with him not to hurt me, but he just snarled
and went on with his invasion of my person.  No man had ever seen me naked,
not even Austin, my beloved boyfriend, who would never treat me like this,
I thought helplessly.  Jedite's mouth came down on mine again, but this
time it was gentler, almost tender, as he sought to get my mouth to open to
him.  Slowly I started to lose the will to fight him.  What was I thinking?
Jedite was a NegaCreep!  I tried again to break away from him, but he held
onto me tightly.  I braced myself for the inevitable slap, but instead he
took his hands and lightly traced my cheeks.  "Don't you realize that I
cannot let you go, Sailor Avalon ?  You are in my dreams and I have to take
you, otherwise I shall never be free," Jedite explained.  I looked at him
in surprise.  Me?  He was in love with me, I thought despairingly.  He
quickly divested himself of his gray uniform and pressed up against me.
Jedite suddenly pressed forward and joined our bodies as one. Despite
myself I found that I enjoyed the feeling of his warm body thrusting
against mine.  He continued to make love to me until I felt my release
exploding within me.  Jedite found his release soon after, spilling his
seed into my womb.


        Later, as we relaxed in eachother's arms, he turned to me and asked
me to stay with him.  I smiled sadly and told him no, that my work as a
Sailor Scout was too important.  He grabbed me and hugged me tight,
whispering words of love, and letting me know that no matter where I went,
I would always have a reminder of our joining. And so I would, for I became
the mother of Ulric, Jedite's and my son.
